A twelve-month period in which businesses and other organizations must submit and calculate annual financial reports and also accrue taxes. As regulated by law in most jurisdictions, these reports must be submitted once every twelve months. This period in Spain and Latin American countries typically begins on January 1st and ends on December 31st of the same year.
